Plesner advises Netcompany on sponsorship agreement with Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team

Case News
Plesner has advised Netcompany in connection with its five-year co-title sponsorship agreement with INEOS Grenadiers Cycling Team, which will be renamed Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team from the start of the 2026 Giro d'Italia.

The sponsorship agreement, announced on 28 April 2026, is a five-year co-title partnership and one of the most significant technological and commercial partnerships in professional cycling.

As part of the sponsorship agreement, the British WorldTour team, previously racing as INEOS Grenadiers Cycling Team, will be renamed Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team from the start of the 2026 Giro d'Italia. The partnership also includes a technology collaboration involving Netcompany's AI-driven PULSE platform, which will be utilized by the team to enable real-time collaborative decision making based on live data.

The partnership supports Netcompany's broader growth ambitions in the UK and across Europe and gives Netcompany a high-profile platform for demonstrating the application of European technology in elite sport.

Plesner is pleased to have advised Netcompany in connection with the conclusion of this landmark sponsorship agreement.

Plesner's core team on the agreement was Thomas Holst Laursen, Jacob Ørskov Rasmussen and Niklas Dybro Jensen.
